Entering the Toilet
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَالْخَبَائِثِ
Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika minal-khubuthi wal-khabā’ith
O Allah, I seek refuge with You from all evil and wicked things.

Istikhara
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْتَخِيرُكَ بِعِلْمِكَ وَأَسْتَقْدِرُكَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ وَأَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ الْعَظِيمِ
Allāhumma innī astakhīruka biʿilmika wa astaqdiruka biqudratika wa as’aluka min faḍlikal-ʿaẓīm
O Allah, I seek Your guidance by Your knowledge, I seek ability by Your power, and I ask You of Your great bounty.

For Rain
اللَّهُمَّ اسْقِنَا غَيْثًا مُغِيثًا هَنِيئًا مَرِيئًا نَافِعًا غَيْرَ ضَارٍّ عَاجِلًا غَيْرَ آجِلٍ
Allāhumma-sqinā ghaythan mughīthan hanī’an marī’an nāfiʿan ghayra ḍārrin ʿājilan ghayra ājil
O Allah, give us a saving rain, wholesome, pleasant, beneficial, not harmful, immediate and not delayed.

Before Sleeping
بِاسْمِكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا
Bismika Allāhumma amūtu wa aḥyā
In Your name, O Allah, I die and I live.

Waking Up
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ
Alḥamdu lillāhi alladhī aḥyānā baʿda mā amātanā wa ilayhin-nushūr
Praise is to Allah Who gives us life after He has caused us to die and to Him is the return.

After Sneezing
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ
Alḥamdu lillāh
Praise is to Allah.

When Angry
أَعُوذُ بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ الرَّجِيمِ
Aʿūdhu billāhi minash-shayṭānir-rajīm
I seek refuge in Allah from the accursed Satan.

For Forgiveness (Astaghfar)
أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ
Astaghfirullāhal-ladhī lā ilāha illā huwal-Ḥayyul-Qayyūmu wa atūbu ilayh
I seek forgiveness from Allah, beside Whom none is worthy of worship, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer, and I turn to Him in repentance.

For the Deceased
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لَهُ وَارْحَمْهُ وَعَافِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنْهُ
Allāhumma-ghfir lahu warḥamhu wa ʾāfihi waʿfu ʿanhu
O Allah, forgive him, have mercy on him, grant him well-being, and pardon him.

For Well-being in This World and the Next
اللَّهُمَّ أَصْلِحْ لِي دِينِي الَّذِي هُوَ عِصْمَةُ أَمْرِي وَأَصْلِحْ لِي دُنْيَايَ الَّتِي فِيهَا مَعَاشِي
Allāhumma aṣliḥ lī dīnī alladhī huwa ʿiṣmatu amrī wa aṣliḥ lī dunyāya allatī fīhā maʿāshī
O Allah, set right for me my religion, which is the safeguard of my affairs, and set right for me my worldly life in which I earn my living.

After Eating
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنِي هَذَا وَرَزَقَنِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِنِّي وَلَا قُوَّةٍ
Alḥamdu lillāhi alladhī aṭʿamanī hādhā wa razaqanīhi min ghayri ḥawlin minnī wa lā quwwah
Praise is to Allah Who has fed me this and provided it for me without any strength or effort on my part.

Before Eating (Full)
اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِيمَا رَزَقْتَنَا وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ
Allāhumma bārik lanā fīmā razaqtanā wa qinā ʿadhāban-nār
O Allah, bless us in what You have provided for us and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

Dua of Yunus
لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ
Lā ilāha illā anta, subḥānaka, innī kuntu minaẓ-ẓālimīn
There is no deity except You; exalted are You. Indeed, I have been of the wrongdoers.

Morning Remembrance
أَصْبَحْنَا عَلَى فِطْرَةِ الْإِسْلَامِ وَكَلِمَةِ الْإِخْلَاصِ وَدِينِ نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ وَمِلَّةِ أَبِينَا إِبْرَاهِيمَ
Aṣbaḥnā ʿalā fiṭratil-islāmi wa kalimatil-ikhlāṣ wa dīni nabiyyinā Muḥammadin ﷺ wa millati abīnā Ibrāhīm
We have entered the morning upon the natural disposition of Islam, the word of sincerity, the religion of our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, and the way of our father Ibrahim.

Entering the Home
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ خَيْرَ الْمَوْلِجِ وَخَيْرَ الْمَخْرَجِ
Allāhumma innī as’aluka khayral-mawliji wa khayral-makhraji
O Allah, I ask You for the best of entering and the best of leaving.

Leaving the Home
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَى اللَّهِ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ
Bismillāh, tawakkaltu ʿalallāh, wa lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā billāh
In the name of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no might nor power except with Allah.

When Visiting the Sick
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ النَّاسِ أَذْهِبِ الْبَأْسَ اشْفِ أَنْتَ الشَّافِي لَا شِفَاءَ إِلَّا شِفَاؤُكَ شِفَاءً لَا يُغَادِرُ سَقَمًا
Allāhumma rabban-nāsi adhhibil-ba’sa, ishfi antash-shāfī, lā shifā’a illā shifā’uka shifā’an lā yughādiru saqamā
O Allah, Lord of mankind, remove the harm and heal, for You are the Healer; there is no healing but Yours, a healing that leaves no trace of illness.

Before Wudu
اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي ذَنْبِي وَوَسِّعْ لِي فِي دَارِي وَبَارِكْ لِي فِيمَا رَزَقْتَنِي
Allāhumma-ghfir lī dhanbī wa wassiʿ lī fī dārī wa bārik lī fīmā razaqtanī
O Allah, forgive my sin, expand my home for me, and bless me in what You have provided.

Dua for Travel
اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَسْأَلُكَ فِي سَفَرِنَا هَذَا الْبِرَّ وَالتَّقْوَى وَمِنَ الْعَمَلِ مَا تَرْضَى
Allāhumma innā nas’aluka fī safarinā hādhā al-birra wat-taqwā wa minal-ʿamali mā tarḍā
O Allah, we ask You on this journey for righteousness, piety, and deeds that please You.

Entering Ramadan
اللَّهُمَّ سَلِّمْنِي لِرَمَضَانَ وَسَلِّمْ رَمَضَانَ لِي وَسَلِّمْهُ لِي مُتَقَبَّلًا
Allāhumma sallimnī li Ramaḍān wa sallim Ramaḍāna lī wa sallimhu lī mutaqabbalā
O Allah, let me reach Ramadan, keep Ramadan safe for me, and accept it from me.

I ask for Your forgiveness.

Protection from Evil
أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّاتِ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَ
Aʿūdhu bikalimātillāhi-t-tāmmāti min sharri mā khalaq
I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.

Anxiety and Sorrow
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْهَمِّ وَالْحَزَنِ وَالْعَجْزِ وَالْكَسَلِ وَالْبُخْلِ وَالْجُبْنِ وَضَلَعِ الدَّيْنِ وَغَلَبَةِ الرِّجَالِ
Allāhumma innī aʿūdhu bika minal-hammi wal-ḥazan, wal-ʿajzi wal-kasal, wal-bukhli wal-jubn, wa ḍalaʿid-dayni wa ghalabatir-rijāl
O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, from inability and laziness, from stinginess and cowardice, from the burden of debt and the domination of men.

After Adhan
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ وَالصَّلَاةِ الْقَائِمَةِ آتِ مُحَمَّدًا الْوَسِيلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ
Allāhumma rabba hādhihid-daʿwati-t-tāmmati waṣ-ṣalātil-qā’imati āti Muḥammadanil-wasīlata wal-faḍīlah
O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and established prayer, grant Muhammad the intercession and favour.

For Protection of Children
أُعِيذُكُمَا بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْطَانٍ وَهَامَّةٍ وَمِنْ كُلِّ عَيْنٍ لَامَّةٍ
Uʿīdhukumā bikalimātillāhi-t-tāmmati min kulli shayṭānin wa hāmmatin wa min kulli ʿaynin lāmmah
I seek refuge for you both in the perfect words of Allah from every devil, every poisonous creature, and every envious eye.

For Sustenance
اللَّهُمَّ اكْفِنِي بِحَلَالِكَ عَنْ حَرَامِكَ وَأَغْنِنِي بِفَضْلِكَ عَمَّنْ سِوَاكَ
Allāhumma-akfinī biḥalālika ʿan ḥarāmika wa aghninī bifadlika ʿamman siwāk
O Allah, suffice me with what is lawful over what is unlawful, and enrich me by Your bounty beyond anyone else.

After Wudu
أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ
Ashhadu an lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, wa ashhadu anna Muḥammadan ʿabduhu wa rasūluh
I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah alone, with no partner, and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger.

Before Travel
سُبْحَانَ الَّذِي سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُ مُقْرِنِينَ وَإِنَّا إِلَى رَبِّنَا لَمُنْقَلِبُونَ
Subḥānal-ladhī sakhkhara lanā hādhā wa mā kunnā lahu muqrinīn, wa innā ilā rabbinā lamunqalibūn
Glory to Him Who has subjected this to us, and we could never have accomplished it by ourselves, and to our Lord we are surely returning.

Gratitude
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي بِنِعْمَتِهِ تَتِمُّ الصَّالِحَاتُ
Alḥamdu lillāhi alladhī biniʿmatihi tatimmuṣ-ṣāliḥāt
Praise is to Allah by Whose grace good deeds are completed.

Seeking Forgiveness (Sayyid al-Istighfar)
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ
Allāhumma anta rabbī lā ilāha illā anta khalaqtanī wa anā ʿabduka wa anā ʿalā ʿahdika wa waʿdika mastaṭaʿt
O Allah, You are my Lord; there is no deity except You. You created me and I am Your servant, and I abide by Your covenant and promise as best I can.

Evening Remembrance
أَمْسَيْنَا وَأَمْسَى الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ
Amsaynā wa amsal-mulku lillāh, wal-ḥamdu lillāh, lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah
We have reached the evening and the dominion belongs to Allah; praise is to Allah; there is no deity except Allah alone, with no partner.

For Knowledge
رَبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا
Rabbi zidnī ʿilmā
My Lord, increase me in knowledge.
— Surah Ta-Ha 20:114
Breaking the Fast (Iftar)
ذَهَبَ الظَّمَأُ وَابْتَلَّتِ الْعُرُوقُ وَثَبَتَ الْأَجْرُ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ
Dhahabaẓ-ẓama’u wabtallatil-ʿurūqu wa thabatal-ajru in shā’Allāh
The thirst is gone, the veins are moistened, and the reward is confirmed, if Allah wills.

Dressing
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي كَسَانِي هَذَا وَرَزَقَنِيهِ مِنْ غَيْرِ حَوْلٍ مِنِّي وَلَا قُوَّةٍ
Alḥamdu lillāhi alladhī kasānī hādhā wa razaqanīhi min ghayri ḥawlin minnī wa lā quwwah
Praise is to Allah Who clothed me with this and provided it for me without any strength or effort on my part.

For Parents
رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِوَالِدَيَّ وَارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا
Rabbi-ghfir lī wa liwālidayya warḥamhumā kamā rabbayānī ṣaghīrā
My Lord, forgive me and my parents, and have mercy on them as they raised me when I was small.

We have reached the morning and dominion belongs to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
